Cookie Race! Holzfforma g288 v Holzfforma g395

As a quick note the cut times were taken from each individual cut from the editor and not from the video in its final form. Video is there to give a visual and auditor reference. Reason I mention this is the difference was ... huge. I think a little more "focused" analysis and testing is in order. You all know my feelings about cookie races and their role in evaluation. The difference here is way more than I expected, the 395 runs as is in the same class as my 660 bling saw. with it's big bore top end and tweaked everything else to match. First question for me is do I have a "ringer" saw, are they all going to run like this? Also I see a variety of other cylinder options on the market including a 58mm popup. Wow the options are going to make this saw even more fun than the 660's were. :) Bolt on power works for me and I like the concept as more can experience this type of performance w/o having to send it out to a porting guy. Always favor the "simple tools" concepts for fun saws...and this might have moved to the top of the list for me. :)
