In this video, we'll discuss the most exciting new Turkish series of the 2026/27 season, expected to premiere this fall. The new Turkish television season kicks off in September, and Turkish TV channels, platforms, and production companies are preparing a multitude of premieres for viewers. The fall 2026 premieres are diverse, ranging from family dramas and historical sagas to spy projects and mystical stories. In the first episode of my review of new Turkish series for the 2026/27 season, I'll highlight five highly anticipated projects that are already being actively discussed by the Turkish press and fans of Turkish series. Our focus: "Mercan Köşk" ("Coral Mansion" / "Mercan Mansion") is a new family drama set in a mysterious atmosphere, an old mansion, and long-standing family conflicts. The story begins with the mysterious disappearance of a young man named Toprak and leads the characters to a mansion that holds many secrets from the past. Viewers will experience love, family conflict, secrets from the past, and dramatic events that could change the destinies of several generations. "Eve Giden Yol" ("The Road Home") is a mystical drama in which a group of people find themselves in an abandoned village after a serious traffic accident. The characters hope to find help, but soon realize they've arrived in a place where strange and difficult-to-explain events are occurring. The series promises to be one of the most unusual premieres of the season with its combination of drama, psychological tension, and mystery. "Espiyonaj" ("Espionage") is a new project on the TRT Tabii platform, dedicated to the activities of Turkish intelligence. The plot centers on undercover agents, international operations, the struggle for state interests, and dangerous missions. Fans of spy series can expect intrigue, betrayal, covert operations, and tense confrontations between intelligence agencies. "Kayıp Zaman" ("Lost Time") is a dramatic story about the destinies of people haunted by the past. The series explores themes of memory, choice, regret, and the consequences of decisions made many years ago. The project promises a powerful emotional component and deep character development. "Altın Çağ: Nizamülmülk" ("Golden Age: Nizamülmülk") is a large-scale historical drama dedicated to the life and work of Nizamülmülk, a statesman of the 11th-century Great Seljuk Empire. Viewers will experience palace intrigue, political confrontations, power struggles, and the events of that era. The project is already being called one of the most ambitious historical premieres of the new season.
