Repotting a Cork Bark Oak, Plus Repotting Updates, The Bonsai Zone, March 2024
I'm repotting a Cork Bark Oak (Quercus suber) that I got from Philipe last summer. This tree is the primary source of cork for wine bottle stoppers and other uses, such as cork flooring and as the cores of cricket balls. It is native to southwest Europe and northwest Africa. I am also updating all the trees that I have repotted so far this year. #TheBonsaiZone
