Max Gomez talks not playing the TikTok game, touring with Steve Earle. (VHS HQ live series)

Been awhile, Max. I've had the pleasure of recording with Max a number of times, and a number of you have seen those videos before. Millions, if the view count is to be believed! Max picked a classic VHS favorite of his, the George Strait movie. We chatted and he played in that laid back, Western style. Last time I saw Max, was in the wild west that is Taos, New Mexico. His hometown. We checked out the local courthouse, where somehwere he'd been given the keys (literally the keys to the city?) to open up and play some songs in their grand hall, with old motifs of justice adorning the walls(   • Max Gomez, "Good Friends," // GemsOnVHS™  ). Everyone would stop Max for a hi hello how are you. "My old Kindegarden classmate," he explained about one. He's practically the mayor down there. Anyhow, I hope y'all enjoy.
