ExpressLRS (ELRS) Version explained👇🏼 Target User: Pilots who use popular open-source radio transmitters (e.g., RadioMaster Boxer, Pocket, Zorro) that run the ExpressLRS protocol. Purpose: The Pavo Pico 2 comes with a built-in serial ELRS receiver soldered to the flight controller, allowing for easy "Bind-N-Fly" (BNF) operation. Advantage: Offers extremely low latency, long-range capabilities, and high packet rates. 2. SBUS Version (or PNP) explained👇🏼 Target User: Pilots using the DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 or 3. Purpose: The DJI O4 Air Unit (used in the Pavo Pico 2) has a built-in receiver that communicates directly with the DJI Remote via the SBUS protocol. Advantage: Simplifies the setup for DJI users, as they do not need an extra receiver on the drone. The SBUS version uses the connection between the DJI Air Unit and the Flight Controller (FC) for control signals. *Note: While the Pavo Pico 2 comes with these specific configurations, the flight controller generally allows for both to be configured, and some users choose the ELRS version to have the option to switch, as SBUS is simply a signal protocol.
