Do prato ao cérebro: horário das refeições na doença de Parkinson

Prolopa vs. Protein: How Food Can Interfere with Your Medication 🍽️💊 Many people with Parkinson's disease take Prolopa (levodopa/benserazide) and don't realize that dietary protein competes with the medication's absorption and delivery to the brain. In this video, I explain, in simple terms, when to take it, the distance between meals, the quality of the diet, and how to adjust your routine without losing protein (which is important for health!). You'll see: Why amino acids "compete" with levodopa in the intestine and brain. Practical timing: is taking it 30–60 minutes before eating or 1–2 hours afterward sufficient? What to do if you experience nausea on an empty stomach (tip: water and salt crackers/banana). Protein distribution throughout the day (and when to consider concentrating more at night—always with guidance). Be careful with shakes/protein powders and high-fat meals, which can slow absorption. ⚠️ Important note: This video is educational. Do not change your medication without talking to your neurologist/nutritionist.
