This 1500 Elo Chess YouTuber SCAMS his audience!
It’s no surprise that the recent growth in chess popularity has led to an expanding market for courses, books, software, and other training resources. Alongside this growth, however, there has also been an increase in content of varying quality aimed at players looking to improve. One creator I’ll be discussing in this video is Chessbootcamp. In particular, his approach raises some questions, as he: 1. Tries to discredit many commonly recommended improvement methods; 2. Presents an alternative that is relatively expensive; 3. Attempts to profit by directly promoting this alternative directly to his audience. By the way! I have a discord!
