BISCOITO DE POLVILHO - RECEITA DA ELAINE

INGREDIENTS 1 kg Sour Cassava Flour 1 1/2 cups Cornmeal 250 ml Water 250 ml Oil 1 Egg Salt to taste Water to hydrate the dough PREPARATION METHOD In a bowl, pour the cassava flour. Boil the water and oil, pour over the cassava flour to scald it and stir with a spoon. When it cools, mix with your hands until the dough crumbles well. Moisten the cornmeal and pour it with the egg into the dough. Salt to taste (1 tablespoon per kilo). Keep mixing and adding water until a firm dough forms with enough consistency to roll the dough into small strips that will be placed in a baking pan. Bake for approximately 40 minutes in a 250º oven until golden brown. Enjoy!
