The End of an Era!

This week’s vlog comes to you from a very cold and wet Sussex! After an exciting morning with Coco’s first round jumping on Hooch since his awful accident in December - I said a sad goodbye to my beloved car, off to pastures new! Many of you know how attached I was to that car, as a family it’s taken us on some wonderful journeys and it was just brilliant all round, but as I shared a few weeks back, it was time for a change for many reasons. So Coco and I enjoyed one last hurrah and then waved a fond farewell. And now… I’m driving a speedy little number! Audi have very kindly lent me a TT, and it’s quite an experience to say the least! My new car (AKA The Beast) has been ordered and will be with us shortly, so that’s something seriously exciting to look forward to. The past few days have been extremely productive following last week’s madness, I’ve been filming a new course for the autumn (keep your eyes peeled for the announcement!), have tackled a fair few things at home, picked up a complete bargain to help with my baking from a local antique shop, and tested and reviewed some of your mascara recommendations. Do watch to see which was the clear winner. I then show you a couple of pieces I picked up last week during my trip to London, and the most cleverly efficient gift from The Flat Lay Company - so handy for travelling! I’m also thrilled to introduce you to the newest (and most petite) member of the Ask Charlie Member’s Club - a gift from the seriously lovely Karen from Martlet Bears. I was so incredibly touched to receive such a thoughtful and special gift, and quite emotional! So thank you Karen, from the bottom of my heart. Lastly, I give you a tiny teaser into a very exciting interview I took part in that should be coming out in a few months, and how I approached the content. The opportunity to speak to this global company with such enormous reach made me reflect on my darling husband and how he’s impacted my life. His kindness and encouragement over the years have been invaluable, he’s really brought me out of my shell and given me the confidence to do what I do. I think it’s so important to say thank you and to let people know how you feel about them.
