In the 8th episode of the ALL IN Podcast with Maida Arslanagić, our guest, Iva Hrbolić, mother of a child with development difficulties, will share her experience of parenting a boy with diagnosed autism, her accepting a completely new lifestyle, where the system has failed her and what she does to stay vigilant. The ALL IN with Maida podcast is aimed to support and guide families with children and young people with developmental disabilities and to provide a safe place where families will find answers to all the questions that are troubling them. This podcast helps raise awareness of children with developmental disabilities and their inclusion in the environment in which they live. Maida is a former handball national team player of Croatia, master of Speech and Laguage Pathology and Sports Business Management, Floortime practitioner and licensed handball coach. After completing her successful sports career, she combined her two passions, sports and children - working with children with developmental disabilities through organizing programs and workshops, developing new projects and activities. She is the founder of the first handball program for children with developmental disabilities in Croatia under the name HandbALL IN allong which she created ALL IN with Maida podcast as further support to the initial idea – raising awarness and inclusion.
