Kenner Employee and Inventor of Vintage Star Wars Toys Tells All at ICCC

Vintage Star Wars toys designer and Kenner toys employee Jim Swearingen was hosted a tell-all panel at the Imperial Commissary Collectors Convention. In 1976, Swearingen was working in Kenner's preliminary design group when his boss, Dave Okada, came in with a script from a new movie called Star Wars. The next day he insisted Okada lock himself in his office and read it. "We have to do this," he said. The rest is history. Without Jim, we never would have got those sweet vintage Kenner Star Wars figures like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett. #Kenner #VintageStarWars #ActionFigure Learn more about Kenner with the link below!    • A Brief History Of Kenner The Toy Company ...   - A Brief History Of Kenner The Toy Company That Really Did Care Don't forget to smash that like and subscribe!-    / @ohionerd   To check out more of my collection follow my @ohionerd Instagram @ohionerd Facebook @ohionerdtoys Twitter This Content is NOT for children under the age of 14.
