The Amazing Nature series continues with a scenic film about the water attractions of one of the most picturesque countries in Europe — Croatia. We visited three national parks of this fabulous country: Plitvice Lakes, Krka and Paklenica. The highest Plitvice waterfall, Veliki Slap (Plitvice Veliki Slap) (3:04), reaches 78 meters. People seem tiny against its background. Plitvice Waterfalls National Park is surrounded by a unique beech and pine forest. We will walk along picturesque bridges and paved paths that entangle fabulously bright, emerald green and azure karst lakes. The park protects and maintains the impeccable purity of the natural environment in the name of preserving the biological balance of planet Earth. Therefore, only the eco-ferry sailing on the largest lake Kozjak (Kozjak lake)(14:55) is allowed to launch. Krka National Park (28:12) is famous all over the world for its divinely beautiful Skradinski Buk waterfall (31:31). Krka waterfalls are the largest cascade system in Europe! We did not ignore and visited Visovac island (37:58) on the Krka river (37:25). In the Velebit mountains of Paklenica National Park (40:57) there are about 70 caves in Croatia, and the canyons of Big and Small Paklenica are a favorite place for climbers and rock climbers.
