La Policía Fue 7 Veces a su Casa. Debajo Había 33 Cuerpos | John Wayne Gacy
On December 11, 1978, Robert Piest was 15 years old and just wanted to talk to a contractor about a summer job. His mother was waiting for him outside, in the parking lot of a pharmacy in Des Plaines, Illinois. Robert never came home. The man he had gone to talk to was named John Wayne Gacy. He was 36 years old. He was a businessman, a contractor, a well-known neighbor, a local Democratic Party captain, and he dressed up as a clown for parties and hospitals. But beneath the floorboards of his house was something no one wanted to see in time. This documentary reconstructs the true story of John Wayne Gacy: the first signs, his previous conviction in Iowa, the young men who disappeared after working for his company, the ignored reports, the Jeffrey Rignall case, Robert Piest's disappearance, the search of the house, the 33 bodies found, and the police failure that allowed him to continue operating for years. The police spoke with Gacy several times. Families came forward to report him. Survivors provided clues. And yet, the system failed to connect the dots. This isn't just the story of the so-called "killer clown." It's the story of thirty-three victims, of families who were ignored, and of a house that concealed beneath its floor what the authorities took far too long to investigate. ⏱️ CHAPTERS: 00:00 – The Boy Who Never Returned to the Pharmacy 03:00 – Who Was John Wayne Gacy? 07:00 – The First Conviction That Should Have Set Off All the Alarms 11:00 – PDM Contractors: Work, Young People, and Disappearances 16:00 – The House in Norwood Park Township 20:00 – Jeffrey Rignall: The Survivor Who Found Him Alone 25:00 – Robert Piest: The Disappearance That Changed Everything 29:00 – The Police Enter the House 33:00 – What Was Beneath the Floor 36:00 – The Trial and the Conviction 39:00 – The Nameless Victims 41:00 – The Systemic Failure That Still Troubles Do you think the police could have arrested John Wayne Gacy sooner if they had listened to the families and survivors?
