Oahu Shave Ice review: Matsumoto, Monsarrat, and Waiola Shave Ice

Hello again my EATventuring friends! Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE! In this video, I tried out three different shave ice spots recommended by locals in Oahu. What's YOUR favorite shave ice flavors? Shoot them in the comments! First one I visited was Matsumoto Shave Ice. I've been to Matsumoto's three times, in the past three times I have been to Oahu. Whenever we're at the North Shore, we take a trip down there because the shave ice flavors really are delicious. For all the fame their shop has gathered, I can't believe that their prices stay so low! I always get it with ice cream, and mochi balls if my tummy has space for them :) Next stop is Monsarrat Shave ice. I've also gone to Monsarrat Shave ice every time I visit Oahu, because it's very close to my boyfriend's parents' home. I love Monsarrat because they serve organic fruit puree instead of the super sugary flavored syrups. I don't usually get ice cream with it; Monsarrat is my healthier option to get my shave ice fix. Last stop is Waiola Shave ice. I can't believe this was my first time stopping by this place! The flavors are just as good as Matsumoto's, and it's much closer that Matsumoto's.
