Suecia: El Capitalismo de Bienestar | Entrevista a Mauricio Rojas

Sweden is returning from the "big state." Just over two decades ago, its famous welfare system collapsed. A deep crisis in the early 1990s was the price paid for the arrogance of a state that expanded without limits and believed itself all-powerful. Few would have believed then that, in the not-too-distant future, the northern lights would shine brightly again and that Sweden would once again be spoken of as a model to follow. But this is precisely what has happened. Today, after two decades of profound reforms, Sweden has once again become an international benchmark. So much so that not long ago, The Economist (2013) called it, along with other Nordic countries, "the supermodel of the future." Mauricio Rojas.
