【三重・津】中心が動きすぎて、中心がなくなった街

Hello, this is Hi Travel. This time, we took a walk through Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, with the theme of "Where is the center of this city?" Starting from Tsu Station, we visited Tsu Kairaku Park, Gokoku Shrine, Daimon Shopping Street, Tsu Kannon Temple, Tsu Castle, Akogiura, Nagisamachi, and finally Isshinden/Takada Honzan Senshuji Temple. As we walked, we saw that the centers of each era—the area around the station, the shopping district, the administrative center, the castle town, the port town, and the temple town—remained in different locations. "A city where the center has shifted so much that it has lost its center." We hope you can experience this unique structure of Tsu by actually walking through it. On the other hand, Isshinden in the latter half of our journey had a completely different atmosphere from the castle town of Tsu; it was a temple town that felt like an independent state.
