Ghalib: The Ecstasy of Apprehension
Dr. Azra Raza is an oncologist, scientist, Professor of Medicine, and Director of the MDS Center at Columbia University. She is deeply moved by poetry, admiring the works of great masters like Shakespeare, Dante, Milton, Mir Anis and Ghalib. She (with her co-author Sara Goodyear) has translated and interpreted Ghalib’s Urdu poetry for English speakers in “A Tribute to Ghalib.” Dr. Azra speaking to an audience at an event in Toledo, Ohio.
