FOUND AT THE BUS TERMINAL WITH HER FATHER ENTRY INTO THE COUNTRY WITHOUT HER MOTHER'S AUTHORIZATION FRANCISCO NIETO, A 39-YEAR-OLD CHILEAN CITIZEN, WAS DETAINED The Anti-Kidnapping Division of the Paraguayan National Police sent several requests for assistance to Argentina in the search for a 2-year-old Chilean girl whose father had taken her from Paraguay without judicial authorization. Police in Formosa managed to track down the father, but were unable to arrest him as he had already left the province. Police in Chaco had already activated alerts on orders from the Ministry of Security and, around 1 p.m. today, found the girl and her father. The police intervention was triggered by communication between the Paraguayan National Police and the Ministry of Security of Chaco, and in turn with the Formosa Police. In Chaco, an investigation began at the Resistencia Bus Terminal, a joint effort involving the Complex Investigations Unit, the Fourth Metropolitan Police Station, the Foreigners' Information Division, the Missing Persons Unit, and the Cybercrime Unit. Thanks to this interdisciplinary work, the arrival of the girl and her father was identified, and they are now under police protection. NOTE: SILVIO CUEVAS, JOURNALIST FOR CANAL 9 AND C9N ASUNCIÓN
