I hadn't yet tackled the 2025 Kyoto University humanities mathematics exam, so I decided to do it before the year ended. It wasn't that I couldn't think of a solution, but it surprisingly tested my intuition and had some deep aspects, which I thought was impressive. After finishing, I went to Akihabara and attended a mini-live concert. The next day, for some reason I was free, so I tackled the castle series, which continues in the next part. --- This is a vlog where I actually solve problems 1 through 5 of the 2025 Kyoto University humanities mathematics exam. Filmed in October 2025. First, I fueled up with Kobe beef curry before tackling the Kyoto University humanities mathematics exam. In the integer problems, I noticed the difference between "polynomial division" and "integer division," in probability I constructed a recurrence relation, and I thought through the geometry, integration, and vector problems as I solved them. Beyond simply providing the answer, "How do I interpret these conditions?" "How is this different from a science-based problem?" "Why is this problem so well-designed?" The thought process and impressions from the actual problem-solving process are also included. After finishing the math problem, I went to work, edited videos at Starbucks, and attended an event in Akihabara.
