V - "They've Arrived" | 80s Tribute (Synthwave Version)

🎵 "They look like us. They talk like friends. But the mask is where the mercy ends..." This is a Darksynth/Synthwave tribute to one of the most chilling sci-fi events ever broadcast — Kenneth Johnson's V (1983) — the miniseries that taught a generation never to trust a friendly hand reaching down from the sky. Driven by ominous Roland Juno-106 synths, a cinematic arpeggiated bassline, gated reverb TR-909 drums, and that haunting 4-note Morse code motif woven through every bar, this track tries to capture the dread, the paranoia, and the pulse-pounding resistance at the heart of the original series. 🎬 ABOUT THE SERIES: V aired in 1983 and followed the arrival of an alien race — the Visitors — who descended on Earth in 50 massive motherships, appearing human, offering cures and friendship, and slowly revealing something far darker beneath the surface. It was a deliberate allegory for fascism, collaboration, and resistance — and it scared an entire generation half to death when that mask came off. It deserved a tune that matched its darkness. This is my attempt. #VSeries #Synthwave #Darksynth #AIMusic #80sSciFi #TheVisitors #SynthwaveTribute #CinematicSynth #RetroSciFi #80sTribute
