The Adventure Zone - The Chalice (Piano Cover)

So I had been trying to figure out how to play this song effectively on just one piano for a long time, and then I found the amazing video posted by Mariposa Gollery (   • TAZ - The Chalice piano cover  ) in which their brother figured out a beautiful method to get the echoing-melody effect by playing it up the octave. Unfortunately I couldn’t figure out any way to add the third echo, but I hope this sounds cool anyway! I think I’m revisiting The Eleventh Hour because, um… time is really, really weird right now? And it’s been feeling like a strange loop, or a year stuck in time, if that makes sense. I absolutely love the soundtrack to this arc, and the scene in which this song plays just hits like an emotional freight train. The song captures the insistence of time, the overwhelming weight of it, the pressure to give in to regret, and the feeling of relentless infinity. As usual, Griffin McElroy is a genius.
