You gotta move on." __________________________________________________________________ Steve and grief again! Who would've thought. (Me. I did. Because I get hit with it every other stupid week, apparently.) I really do wish we could've gotten to see more of Steve dealing with all he's gone through (and honestly just his inner life, background, contradictions, you name it. Everything else that would make him a person in general), but we are where we are. I'll try to refrain myself from beating the very dead horse that is Endgame or raving too much about my opinion on the awful implications/messages it carries re: what the solution to overcoming compounded trauma, loss and hardship is apparently supposed to be. But I will say that it's funny that the above line—as well as Peggy's "none of us can go back, all we can do is our best" speech—were written by the same people who ultimately managed to undo and go against all of their own work. Make of that what you will.
