Ward Colorado - A Follow Up

Recently I went camping in Ward Colorado. But it didn't quite feel right without learning a bit more about the town. So I set up a little different setup in the recording closet to do some half baked internet "research" Welcome to the wildlife filmmaking and photography channel of Michael Ward. You might know me as "Qwoft" online, a name I created back in 2014 when I needed a unique handle for a website. It's a useful identifier, especially since there are quite a few Michael Wards out there, including some talented photographers. Join me as we explore the wonders of wildlife together, capturing the beauty of the natural world through stunning visuals and immersive soundscapes. It's a bit of a mystery to me as well, why I do this. I started taking photographs of birds and found it to be quite a thrilling challenge. It fulfills me more than anything else I've ever done in life and I realized it was more than a hobby, it was a passion. My older brother, a professional photographer for many years, piqued my interest in the field and I was able to learn a lot from him. Now, I'm sharing that knowledge and experience with others. The entire point of this channel is to share the experiences, mistakes, and the entire journey. I make vlogs detailing each trip out and what I see. I learn what kinds of wildlife I find and do my best to identify it. Nature documentaries, especially those by David Attenborough and his teams, were a big inspiration to switch to video recording. I'm still learning every day and doing my best to share that on the channel. I plan to travel more, as I currently have to work a full-time job. This is something I do whenever I have free time on the weekends. But I plan to start expanding and doing overnight trips and traveling the world to see as much wildlife as I can.
