What’s worse than cycling in the dark on a busy road? Cycling in the dark with no light on busy roads.I wished I never had to experience this, but this is how I cycled into Athens. This day was already challenging: I almost lost the last ferry to Salamina, the island I had to cross to get to Athens, then the second ferry took me to the wrong port and then my light lost power 10-15km before Athens. But not all was bad. Cycling from Patras to Athens took me through Corinth, a city known for the mighty Pegasus and the incredible channel of Corinth, which is a wonderful masterpiece. But Corinth didn’t let me go that easily, so I had a tiny incident while crossing the channel. Cycling through Greece has been amazing so far and I cannot wait to discover more of it.
