Uchi Uke and Arm Drags: A Match Made In Heaven. Kyokushin Training with Shihan Cameron Quinn

I focus on providing techniques, training ideas and philosophies of both Kyokushin karate and Jiu-Jitsu that you may find useful. In addition, I sometimes discuss more esoteric ideas such as religious principles, meditation, and yoga. I'm open to your thoughts, suggestions, criticisms, corrections and appreciations. If you haven't already done so, hit Subscribe and the little bell next to it so you know when a new video has been uploaded. But most important of all, please share with your friends so we can get the message out. Right click on the video and copy the link, then share it with anyone you think may enjoy this channel. And another big thank you to Mitch Kochonda, long time friend and student, for his patient service as a willing uke for the techniques. Mitch is one of Australia's most respected and experienced strength and conditioning (athletic development) coaches, so sometimes he also offers his own vast knowledge in videos. For the record, I have been training in Kyokushin karate since 1971. I first traveled to Japan to train with the creator of Kyokushin, Mas Oyama, and over a period 18 years, acted as the Master's interpreter from time to time as required. I also wrote the book, The Budo Karate of Mas Oyama in 1987, and the second edition in 2021. I teach Kyokushin at the Tamborine Mountain Martial Arts dojo on the Gold Coast, Australia. I also began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 1994. I have my black belt with Gracie Barra and teach regularly at the Gracie Barra Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, Australia. Every year, I conduct training seminars worldwide. If you'd like to host a seminar, get in touch. Osu.
