Kim Taek Soo (KOR) - Koji Matsushita (JPN) Kong Linghui (CHN) - Kim Taek Soo (KOR) J.O. Waldner (SWE) - Zoran Primorac (CRO) The Gilbert Cup was a series of annual invitational tournaments that took place in the late '90s in Los Angeles. They features some of the top players in the world at that time. They did not count for any ratings and thus were a pure reflection of the fun of the sport, enhanced by the competition for prize money that was considered substantial for table tennis at that time.
