Today we’re visiting Edessa, known as the “City of Water,” and home to some of the most impressive waterfalls in Greece. Edessa surprised me with its powerful waterfalls, peaceful walking paths, and charming old neighborhoods. You can actually walk behind the main waterfall, feel the mist in the air, and hear the water rushing all around you, it’s such a unique experience. This visit is part of my Northern Greece journey, following stops in Naousa and Loutra Pozar, and it reminded me how many beautiful places exist beyond Greece’s islands.
