E-MTB Motor Comparison (Brose S, Bosch CX, Shimano E8000)

While visiting the Bulls headquarters in Southern California, I was able to compare three of the top rated electric mountain bike motors, back to back. Those include the Brose S, Bosch Performance Line CX, and Shimano E8000. All motors were installed on high performance mountain bikes and tested head to head with frame mounted cameras. I do my best to explain the differences between performance and my own subjective feelings here. Bosch has been one of my favorite systems for their reliability and range of options, but I was very impressed with how fluid the new Brose S felt during this test. It took my top spot.
