Borbotó is a district of the city of Valencia, located to the north of the city. The term Borbotó comes from the Arabic برّ أبو تر (Barr Abū Tur), that is, "Abu Tur neighborhood". Borboto comes from an Andalusian farmhouse, which was taken by Jaime I of Aragon during the conquest of Valencia. The king donated it to Guillem de Caportella in 1238, and he gave it to the Order of the Temple.
