Seong-Jin Cho on Liszt's Second Piano Concerto

Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho talks to violist Kyoungmin Park about the beginnings of his career, his collaboration with the Berliner Philharmoniker and their joined tour through Asia. Furthermore he discusses his performance of Liszt's Second Piano Concerto and the significance the piece has for him. Through intensely studying Liszt's life and compositions Cho was able to discover more and more facets of the composer and build a deeper connection. Finally they discuss the influence of the the past months going through a worldwide pandemic.
