Bangladesh Tourism| Shahedin 2019 সালে ইন্দোনেশিয়া তার পর্যটন খাত থেকে আয় করে ১৭ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার। আর সেই বছর বাংলাদেশের প্রায় দেড় কোটি প্রবাসীর হাড়ভাঙ্গা পরিশ্রমে আয় হয় 18 বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার। মানে যেই পরিমাণ টাকা আমার দেশের মানুষ বাইরে যেয়ে কষ্ট করে এনেছে, সেই পরিমাণ অর্থ বিভিন্ন দেশের মানুষ ইন্দোনেশিয়াতে গিয়ে খরচ করে এসেছে। শুধু ইন্দোনেশিয়া না, থাইল্যান্ড, সিংগাপুর, মালদ্বীপ, শ্রীলংকা, নেপাল এমনকি আমাদের পাশের দেশ ভারতও প্রতি বছর একটা বড় অংকের টাকা এই পর্যটন খাত থেকে আয় করে, আমরা সেসব চেয়ে চেয়ে দেখি আর নিজের দেশের সৌন্দর্য রেখে ওসব দেশে যাওয়ার প্ল্যান করি। কিন্তু ভয়ংকর খবর হচ্ছে, আমাদের দেশের যেসব পর্যটন কেন্দ্র আছে সেগুলোও একে একে হুমকির মধ্যে পরছে, কোথাও প্রাকৃতিক সমস্যা আবার কোথাও বা রাজনৈতিক সমস্যা। সম্প্রতি বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে সুন্দরতম পর্যটন এরিয়া বান্দরবানে যাওয়া নিয়ে ধুয়াশা তৈরি হয়েছে। পাহাড়ের সসস্ত্র গোষ্ঠীগুলো অপরূপ সুন্দর বান্দরবানকে এক ভয়ের এলাকায় পরিণত করেছে। নিজের দেশের একটা অংশেও আমরা ঠিকঠাক যেতে পারছি না। মিয়ানমারের সাথে সম্পর্ক খারাপের জের ধরে ও মিয়ানমারের বিদ্রোহীদের তৎপড়তায় সবচেয়ে ব্যস্ততম পর্যটন কেন্দ্র সেন্ট মার্টিন আজ আমাদের থেকে অনেক দূরে। নিয়মিত পথে সেন্ট মার্টিন যাওয়া যাচ্ছে না। যেতে হবে ইনানী থেকে সমুদ্র ঘুরে, যেখানে রয়েছে পদে পদে বাধা ও অধিক অর্থের ব্যাপার স্যাপার। আবার এমনও শোনা যাচ্ছে, সেন্ট মার্টিনে নাকি পর্যটক সীমিত করা হবে। তাহলে মানুষ যাবে কোথায়? Balancing tourism with ecological conservation remains a significant challenge, as unchecked tourism can lead to habitat degradation and loss of biodiversityck of Skilled Workforce**: The tourism sector in Bangladesh lacks adequately trained professionals in areas such as hospitality, customer service, and tour management. This affects the overall quality of service offered to tourists, which is crucial for developing a positive reputation . I Marketing and Branding: Bangladesh’s tourism potential remains largely untapped due to limited international marketing. Unlike neighboring countries, Bangladesh has yet to establish a strong brand in global tourism, making it less known to potential tourists . Visa and Ens: Complicated visa procedures can discourage international travelers. Simplifying visa policies and promoting e-visa options could help attract more visitors .
