We are now in the presence of Aussie Country Music Royalty! The great Buddy Williams...one of the true Aussie Country Legends! This track was released in Australia in 1958 as the flipside of Columbia 45, DO-3988, The A. side was the classic track "I'll Stroll Down Memory Lane With You", which I've also uploaded to YouTube. Buddy mined the Carter Family songbook for this track, written by US country/folk artist Buell Kazee...and his stripped-back delivery, with simple guitar accompaniment, is a joy to listen to.
