DIY: Valenti 4th Brake Light Wiring Mod- HOW TO -Separate "V" and Brake

You can bench test the light, and it will work fine. But once it’s installed, it won’t work. If you know electrical well, send me a message or read the response in comments to the situation of when version 2 doesn’t work. Maybe someone knows what is causing this? Let me know please! There is NO harm in trying version 2, if that is your preferred wiring setup. Worst case, you wire the light for version 2, install it and find out it doesn’t light up. Simply take the light apart again and re-wire for version 3. Version 3 so far has 100% success rate, when the wiring is done correctly. The Valenti 3rd/4th brake and reverse light for the Scion FRS and Subaru BRZ comes pre-wired in a weird way-the "V" and the brake light always come on together, when almost everyone wants to separate the "V" from the brake light (triangle).
