OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE PEARSON PROFESSIONAL TEST CENTER

Diaspora Affairs PS Roseline Kathure Njogu, CBS today officiated the opening of the Pearson Professional test center in Westlands Subcounty, Nairobi which will offer high-stakes examinations including NCLEX-RN. The center, the second one in Africa, which will have the ability to accommodate a minimum of 3,000 candidates per year, and deliver more than 920 tests per month, is the initiative of State Department for Diaspora Affairs Kenya that saw Pearson VUE partner with the NCSBN to open a test centre in Nairobi to assist in addressing the critical skills shortage of nurses in the country and the global labour market. The PS accompanied by the KMTC CEO Dr. Kelly Oluoch and Ms. Irene Karai, Director-Skills and Expertise Division, commended Pearson Vue and other stakeholders for ensuring the success of the operationalization of the center. PS Njogu also lauded the Kenyan Diaspora Community for the significant role they played in the establishment of the center in Nairobi.
