President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo led the presentation of the new model for the consolidated purchase of medications, managed by the Ministry of Health and Biological and Reagent Laboratories of Mexico (Birmex). This model focuses on efficiency, transparency, and accessibility, with the goal of ensuring quality medications at fair prices within the public health system. It includes more than 4,000 types of medications and supplies, representing the largest consolidated purchase ever made by the federal government; it comprises 4.934 billion units to supply the 26 institutions in the health sector. The head of the federal executive branch explained that constitutional supremacy is fundamental to the rule of law: the Constitution is the supreme law and prevails over any other legal provision in the country. She emphasized that any interpretation or modification of the law must respect constitutional rights by guaranteeing that the Judicial, Legislative, and Executive branches maintain ethical and transparent responsibility in their decisions. In the Women in History section, the Undersecretary of Basic Education, Noemí Juárez Pérez, presented the video that recognizes the revolutionary work of Elisa Acuña.
