BOOK REVIEW: WE WERE LIARS BY E. LOCKHART

BEST ADVICE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT READ THIS BOOK: go into this novel with absolutely NO expectations. like, pretend you're the only person who's even heard of this book and you're just reading it to see what it's like. so apparently a lot of reviewers are saying that they predicted the ending early on... i feel dumb. how do you do that do that put that paper over all i thought you knew that knew that. wait what... okay. also, the writing is very hit or miss with a lot of readers. it was a big hit for me--i loved it. but if a bit of purple prose and fragmented sentences aren't your thing, then it might be a miss. (some people are comparing it to tahereh mafi's writing and it's like stop it no nope what are you even saying.) this video is so long and yet i felt like i said nothing ????? i'm planning on uploading a second, follow-up video after reading this book a second time. it will be focused on dissecting the clues and stuff like that--should be p fun! :) FIND ME ELSEWHERE: blog: http://thebookbasement.blogspot.com/ twitter:   / thebookbasement   goodreads:   / thebookbasement   instagram: @bookishsophia
