Campervan adventures at Stump Cross Caverns

We camped right next to a cave in the Yorkshire Dales… and it turned out to be such a special little adventure 🚐💛 In this video, I take my granddaughter on her first campervan trip to Stump Cross Caverns — where we explore incredible underground caves, learn how they were formed over 350 million years ago, and even mine for our own minerals! We also stayed overnight in the campervan right by the caverns — a perfect “semi wild but safe” spot. It costs £10, but you get £5 back to spend in the café or caves… so it’s proper cheap and such a lovely place to park up. From fossil spotting and geodes to cosy campervan moments and tea at sunset, this was one of those simple, memorable days that remind you what it’s all about.
