Rails Around Akron, OH
Akron, OH is located about 40 miles south of Cleveland and was known as the 'Rubber Capital of the World'. CSX and Wheeling & Lake Erie keep the rails humming with manifest, autorack and stone traffic both locally and beyond. During the beginning of my month long Summer 2021 jaunt, I spent a few days around the Rubber Capital checking out various locations in town. In addition to CSX and WLE, the Akron Barberton Cluster (ABC) and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) also make appearances. Enjoy, subscribe and thanks for watching!!
