The spokesperson for the governor of Nangarhar province Ehsanullah Osmani told the Associated Press that Pakistan violated Afghanistan’s territory, and then closed the border. "The reason for all this is Pakistan," he claimed. The fighting began Saturday night, when Afghan forces struck multiple Pakistani military posts.
