Each time it brought a lot of flavor and a nice color to the dough. _______ 📝 You can find the written recipe here ▶ https://bucate-aromate.ro/2014/12/che... _______ 📌 Ingredients 450 g flour (type 000) 10 g baking powder (one sachet) ½ teaspoon baking soda 2 tablespoons of vinegar (9 degrees) 100 g of sugar 100 g of oil 550 ml of orange juice ½ teaspoon salt 20 g of cocoa grated peel from an orange ¼ teaspoon turmeric 50 g raisins 15 g almonds (chopped) 10 g of almond flakes powdered sugar - optional (for serving) _______ 🔪 Preparation 1. In a bowl put: 500 ml of orange juice, vinegar and bicarbonate. Stir. 2. Then add the oil, grated orange peel, turmeric, salt and sugar and mix again. 3. In another bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and incorporate them little by little into the liquid ingredients, mixing continuously with a hand whisk so that no lumps form. 4. Pour ¾ of the batter into an oiled cake pan or lined with baking paper. Sprinkle over the (unhydrated) raisins and toss with a fork to distribute into the batter. 5. Mix the cocoa powder with 50 ml of orange juice until you get a paste. Pour the mixture over the remaining dough in the bowl, add the almonds and mix. 6. Pour the cocoa batter into the pan and mix with a fork to mix the 2 colors and get a marbled cake. Sprinkle the almond flakes on top. 7. Bake the cake in the oven preheated to 170 degrees (static) for about 50-55 minutes. Do the toothpick test to make sure it's cooked inside. 8. Let it cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack.
