Bab e ilam di dhii aan[matmi sangat karwan e wali ul asar bhra Bhai masroor]

When Hussain ibn Ali was martyred in the field of Karbala and the tents were set on fire, the enemies also took away the veils of the people of the sanctuary. Bibi Zainab (a.s.), who was an example of patience and modesty, was presented without a veil in the courts of Kufa and Syria. This moment was the deepest wound in her heart. It is narrated in the narrations that: "When the prisoners were taken to the markets of Syria, Zainab (a.s.) used to cover her face with her hands, because there was no veil left." This suffering was not only physical but also spiritual torture. For a daughter of Ali ibn Abi Talib and Fatima al-Zahra, the taking away of her veil was enough to shake the conscience of the entire nation. This is why when the "veil of Zainab (a.s.)" is mentioned in gatherings, eyes well up with tears—because it is not just an incident, but a symbol of the extreme of oppression.
