I'm Deh Werneck, former MasterChef, and in today's video I went to visit Ça-Va*, the restaurant of *Pesadelo na cozinha bought by Chef *Erick Jacquin*. Today was a special reunion day on the channel! I went with Caju, the winner of MasterChef, to Jacquin's restaurant Ça Va here in São Paulo. And yes, it was his first time at one of Chef Erick Jacquin's most iconic restaurants. We talked about the behind-the-scenes of the show, his career in gastronomy and, of course, we tried several incredible dishes. We started with the classic tartar-filled pastry, which is one of Jacquin's most iconic starters. Then came the cream-cured salmon, the warm lentil salad with bacon and eggs, the seafood rice with that wonderful aroma, and the meat with aligot that was simply impeccable. To top it off, the famous petit gâteau that has literally become the restaurant's signature. Caju also talked about his proposal to mix northeastern ingredients with French techniques and told us about his post-MasterChef journey, including the gastronomy course and plans to open his own restaurant. As a former MasterChef and a lover of gastronomic experiences, I am thrilled to experience moments like this and be able to share them with you.
