🥋 10 years. One community. Countless dreams.

On June 14th, more than 1,000 students, families, and friends gathered to celebrate a decade of U&I Korea Taekwondo — and it was a day to remember. Around 300 students took part in the grading, the studio buzzing with energy from morning to late afternoon. One of the day's highlights was a demonstration by 27 of our masters and students — a high-energy showcase of spinning kicks, high-flying breaks, acrobatics, and our signature Taekwon-dance. Watching it, more than a few of our youngest students walked away dreaming of the day they'd be up there too. 🌟 We were also honoured to hear from two of our own. Yifan Chu, heading to Stanford this year, reminded us how the focus she built on these mats shaped every part of her life. And Johnathan Sun, now studying medicine at KCL and a former Australia national team competitor, shared a lesson we won't forget: the work you put in is cumulative — it always comes back to you, sometimes in the most unexpected ways. Ten years on, U&I has grown from a single small studio in 2016 into three locations across Hong Kong, with a new branch opening in Causeway Bay this month. And through our partnerships with leading Korean schools, our students continue to train at the source of the art they love.
