Examen Auxilio Judicial: Estrategia y Protocolo

The Judicial Assistance exam has two exams on the same day: one theoretical and one practical, both multiple-choice. It's key to master the facts, train at a good pace, and apply a strategy for your laps. And remember: the cut-off marks vary depending on the autonomous community. A group C2 exam that has become the gateway to the Justice Administration for many candidates. The best part? You only need a compulsory secondary education (ESO) to take the exam. The most important thing? Having a very clear strategy for facing the exam. The exam consists of two tests. They are given on the same day, with a short break in between. The first is a theory test of 100 questions plus 4 reserve questions. The second consists of two practical cases, also multiple-choice. The first is worth 60% of the grade, and the second 40%. You have 100 minutes to answer the 104 theory questions. One minute per question. This is where speed comes into play, but above all, memory. Because this is a very data-driven exam: deadlines, articles, bodies, powers… If you know the facts, you answer. If not, you're out. The second test consists of two practical cases. 40 questions plus 2 reserve questions. You get 60 minutes. Although they call it a "practical test," it's still a very theoretical test. What changes is the format: they give you a text and the questions are inserted within it. But if you've memorized the syllabus well, you answer them anyway. Very important: the four reserve questions (both in the first and second exams) are only corrected if any of the previous ones are canceled. If none are canceled, they don't count. So don't waste time endlessly hesitating over the 104th. You might not even get in. Another key point: the cut-off marks vary depending on the autonomous community in which you apply. In the last exam session, for example, in Andalusia the cut-off mark was 84.8. In Aragon, it was 63. In Asturias, it was 80.5. So be careful with this. Applying in one or the other can mean the difference between getting a place or not getting a place. Goals? Clear. The first: to beat the cut-off mark for your community. The second: to get the highest possible score. To do this, you need to plan the exam well. We recommend a four-round strategy. First round: reconnaissance. You open the exam and spend 30 seconds checking if everything is printed correctly, if the questions are short or long, and if they're organized by topic. This gives you an idea of the difficulty and helps you anticipate how the process will be. Second round: easy questions. The ones you know. The ones you read and mark without hesitation. You have to go quickly here. It's normal to clear between 60 and 70% of the exam if you're well prepared. Third round: medium questions. The ones where you're hesitant between two options. Or the ones you know you need to think about a little more. Here you stop. Analyze. And decide. Fourth round: difficult questions. Here you're playing with the time you've gained in previous rounds. Questions that are long, convoluted, or simply unfamiliar to you. You decide whether to take the risk or leave it blank. But you do it wisely. We also apply this same strategy to the practical scenarios. First, scenario 1, then scenario 2. Without jumping from one to the other to avoid confusing data. And always with a back-and-forth strategy.
