This training aims to present concepts, techniques, and standards established by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) regarding the standardization of references and citations, and the difference between them. About the speaker: Holds a degree in Portuguese/English Literature from the State Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of União da Vitória. Specialization in Basic Education Teaching with a concentration in Portuguese Language. She holds a Master's degree in Language, Identity and Subjectivity from the State University of Ponta Grossa, and a PhD from the Federal University of Paraná. She works as a researcher in Applied Linguistics, mainly on the following topics: teacher training, linguistic ideologies, language policies, and digital literacy. She was a Linguistics professor in the Spanish/Literature department at UNESPAR - União da Vitória campus. She is a professor in the Specialization program at the Santa Cruz Integrated Faculties. Currently, she is part of the multidisciplinary team for UAB at UFSM.
