Crazy Horse Unfinished

Join us at Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota, where we explore the unfinished monumental mountain carving. Aside from the vast visitor center the highlight of the trip was hopping on the bus to the base of the sculpture, which offered an entirely new and much closer perspective of the carving. We also got a firsthand look at the recently installed tower crane to support the new robotic arm which will significantly accelerate the carving process. Carving started in 1948. We'll return in a few decades when it is finished.
