They sacrifice her at the crossroads. Hecate is the goddess of wisdom, secret knowledge and at the same time a strong feminine principle. A woman in a long veil, in a headdress that resembles the 3 phases of the moon - three faces of Hecate and at the same time a reflection of her function as the goddess of the moon. It is possible that Hecate is the oldest goddess, because she is the embodiment of a single image of the universal mother. The worship of the image of a woman-mother as the supreme deity dates back to the Paleolithic era, that is, to the most ancient times, when there was a cult of a woman as a mother, without which the continuation of the race and the existence of the tribe itself is impossible.
