Yaxia Village is located in Ergali Township, Jinchuan County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Here's an introduction to it: Geographic Location: Located high in the mountains, at an average altitude of 3,200 meters, it's one of the most remote villages in Jinchuan County. Population and Economy: There are 68 households. Villagers' income primarily comes from employment and traditional animal husbandry, supplemented by collecting Chinese medicinal herbs. The village collective fund invested 500,000 yuan in Mingshan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., generating a total income of 197,500 yuan. Development and Changes: The village was lifted out of poverty at the end of 2018. Previously, due to the plateau's geographical and climatic conditions, only four months of the year were suitable for vegetable cultivation, and the available varieties were limited, forcing villagers to purchase vegetables from other regions at high costs. In December 2019, the Sichuan Branch of China Construction Bank approved a greenhouse construction project, donating 265,200 yuan. On June 8, 2020, all 68 greenhouses were completed. These greenhouses, now collectively owned by the village, are leased to villagers for management and use. This not only meets their daily vegetable needs and saves money, but also allows for export and increased income from excess production.
