The XPeng X9 is a 5.32-meter-long electric van that looks more like a rolling spaceship than a classic family van. It will likely face competition from the Mercedes-Benz VLE in the future, but the Chinese model is already scoring points with its greatest strength: extremely fast charging. The 800-volt platform theoretically allows for charging capacities of up to 542 kW. At a 400 kW charging station, we achieved an impressive 347 kW.
