Billing 101
Billing affects how our department and hospital earn revenue to stay afloat and care for patients. It can also directly impact how radiation oncologists earn money. I am no expert in this topic, but this Billing 101 talk is meant to provide a birds-eye view of why billing is important, and how it works. We will focus on billing within US radiation oncology departments, but this talk may still be useful to other specialties and countries as well! This presentation is created purely for educational purposes and does NOT constitute medical advice. If there are any errors or questions/concerns, we welcome comments and discussion!
